Un Cielo (‘one sky’) is about unique designs from photos I have taken over the years around the globe and hand/screen-printed with lots of love on recycled paper, fair trade, organic and sustainable materials.
The idea of Un Cielo began when I decided to make my own Christmas presents for my Mum and aunties. I wanted them to have something to remind them of my Abuela (grandma) in one of the places that I am sure she spent most of her life, the kitchen. The ‘Arroz con Leche’ design, made from pictures of her copper pot, is a tribute to the best rice pudding ever!
I am also a greenie at heart, and from that comes the commitment to use sustainable & fair trade materials whenever possible.
I use 100% Australian recycled paper for the cards, Australian organic cotton and bamboo t-shirts, hemp & hemp/organic cotton blend tea towels. I am currently looking for a supplier for the cotton/linen tea towels.

When buying Un Cielo products you are contributing to make the world a better place. I have matched each design to a different organisation that relates somehow to the image of each design.
$1 from each item/product sold and .50c from each card sold goes to a different organisation.
For example, the ‘Tree’ photo was taken in Botswana and the Mum & Baby Zebras in Tanzania . Therefore, $1 from each item/product sold goes to the African Wildlife Foundation. The foundations that Un Cielo supports are:
African Wildlife Foundation
The AWF, together with the people of Africa, works to ensure the wildlife and wild lands of Africa will endure forever.
